Reiki practice is a system of natural healing founded by Dr. Mikao Usui in the early 20th Century. This energy is all around and within us, and all living things.

Reiki is administered by a Reiki practitioner by gently placing their hands on the body. This energy flows through the physical body to wherever it is needed, balancing emotions and creating a sense of spiritual wellbeing both for the recipient as well as for the practitioner.

Georgina discovered the practice in 2010 and immediately felt reconnected to a deep sense of ‘knowing’ she has felt since childhood.

After receiving Reiki treatments and training from Lizzie McCallum, Georgina Hood went on the study Reiki with Anneli Twan, daughter of revered Canadian Reiki Master Wanja Twan, and was initiated as a Reiki Master by Anneli in June 2013.

Georgina is registered with the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), primarily working in private practice from her home in Battersea. She has also been verified as a Reiki Practitioner by The Reiki Council.

Georgina also works in public practice at St Charles Centre for Health & Wellbeing in association with Local Authority projects and the NHS for the London Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.

“Learning with Georgina was revelatory. It all became clear through her style and opportunities for hands on leanring. Part of her strength as a spiritual leader is the modelling of her own practice and the story telling that goes with her journey. She is a powerful, yet highly sensitive teacher who takes time to know us one by one.”
